ATP 1000

The ATP World Tour Masters 1000 is a series of nine tennis tournaments that are part of the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) tour, held annually throughout the year in Europe, North America and Asia. The tournaments are very important for the top male players on the professional circuit as the series constitutes the most prestigious tournaments in men's tennis after the four Grand Slam events and the ATP World Tour Finals.

ATP 500

The ATP World Tour 500 series is the third highest tier of men's tournament after the four Grand Slam tournaments, and the ATP World Tour Masters 1000. The series includes 11 tournaments, with a number of 500 rankings points to win for the events' singles champions -which accounts for the name of the series. It is mandatory for leading players to enter at least four 500 events, including at least one after the US Open; if they play less than four, or fail to play in one after the US Open they get a "zero" score towards their world ranking for each one short, thus always assuring that the best ranking players are seen at the ATP 500 Series.


ATP 250

The ATP World Tour 250 series is the lowest tier of events on the tour, and is a continuation of the ATP International Series. Here tennis enthusiasts get the chance to view the future tennis giants starting from their roots.




Wimbledon

Wimbledon is the oldest tennis tournament in the world, and widely considered to be the biggest and the most prestigious. It has been held at the All England Club in Wimbledon, London since 1877. The tournament takes place over two weeks in late June and early July, culminating with the Ladies' and Gentlemen's Singles Final, scheduled respectively for the second Saturday and Sunday. The Grand Savoye Grand Steeple Chase de Paris

This Celebrated obstacle race is 5,800m which is one of the longest on a French racecourse. It has 23 obstacles including the rail ditch and fence, which forces the horses to be at the very top of their form to compete. This annual race crowns the best steeple chaser in the 5-years and over age group.




The Prix du Jockey Club (French Derby)

The Prix du Jockey Club is one of the major highlights of the international flat racing calendar which crowns the best 3-year old colt over the classic distance (2,100m). The '91, '97, '99 and '03 winners of this race have also won the Prix de L'Arc de Triomphe.




Prix de Diane Longines (French Oaks)

This is the most important race for three-year-old fillies in France, and is the country's equivalent to the Oaks of England and Ireland. The 2,100m race takes place at the beautiful venue of Chantilly.






Qatar Prix de L'Arc de Triomphe

Considered Europes second richest race, the premier event of the racing season in France and the climax to the European flat racing season. At the end of the season the best European thoroughbred horse is crowned over 2,400m distance in the Qatar Prix de L'Arc de Triomphe.




Vincennes Horseracing

One of the internationally renowned horse racing venues in France is the Paris-Vincennes Hippodrome. GO broadcasts the Vincennes Horse races on a daily basis from Monday to Friday.
