GO Chat is a service that allows you to text chat via Short Message service (SMS).
In many ways, GO Chat is similar to internet Relay Chat (IRC).
With GO Chat, you can join a chat "room" and send messages to other users in the room, with a maximum of 11 users in each room.
All the users in the room receive the messages that are sent to the chat room at the price of a single message!
You can take a look at the many different rooms available in GO Chat, or create your own. You can invite any of your GO mobile friends into the chat room, and you can also be invited to join in.Commands are usually very short, and serve the purpose to manage the users' presence in the chat rooms.
Once you have chosen your nick (nickname) and joined in, you can start sending messages as well as view the messages sent to the chat room.
If you create a particular chat room, you are referred to as the "Super User" of the room, meaning that you enjoy the highest privileges in the chat room. A Super User can decide to elect an "Operator", who assists the Super User in the running of the chat room. Anyone joining the chat room is referred to as the "User", and has the lowest privileges in the room.

GO Chat commands
In order to use GO Chat commands, send an SMS containing the command text to the number (CHAT) 2428. All the basic commands of GO Chat start with any of these symbols: / (slash) or . (dot) or * (asterisk). You can use the symbol that is most convenient on your mobile phone.
Once you are inside a room, you can send messages to other people in the room simply by sending an SMS to 2428.
