On arrival, once you switch on your mobile phone handset, it will start searching for a GSM signal. If GO Mobile and your home mobile operator have a roaming agreement, then you can use GO Mobile's network while in Malta.
Once a connection with GO Mobile has been established, your handset will display either GO Mobile, 278 21 or M21. If this does not occur automatically, you can select the network manually from your phone menu.

- Confirm that you have roaming service with your home operator
- Confirm with your home operator that you do not have any barring/restrictions on your line
