What is TV Anywhere?

GO's TV Anywhere is a free add-on available to residential GO Interactive TV customers. To make use of TV Anywhere, you would need to download the GO TV app  on your mobile phone or tablet from the Google Play store and the Apple App store. The GO TV app gives you the freedom to watch TV anywhere you want, through Wi-Fi or mobile data.

Furthermore, if you are a residential GO Interactive TV customer with an eligible mobile plan/bundle, you can stream TV on the GO TV app without using your included data bundle allowance. This offer will expire on the 31st December 2019 at 23:59hrs.

It is important to note that when the included data bundle allowance is consumed or expired, your mobile plan's or bundle's Pay Per Use (PPU) data charges apply. 

Which mobile plans/bundles are eligible for free data TV streaming on the GO TV app while using the included data bundle allowance?

Can I still stream TV on the GO TV app if I use up my mobile plan/bundle's included data bundle allowance?

If you are subscribed to one of the above eligible mobile plans/bundles and your included data bundle allowance is active, you can use the GO TV app on your mobile phone or tablet without consuming your data bundle allowance.

When your included data bundle is consumed or expired, you will still be able to access the GO TV app, however watching TV will no longer be free of charge.  In this case, you will be charged the mobile plan's or bundle's Pay Per use (PPU) data rates  for any data usage outside your  included data bundle. To avoid unnecessary charges and continue using TV Anywhere, we suggest you connect to a free Wi-Fi network.

What if I am subscribed to another mobile plan/bundle which is not listed above?

If you are not on any of the above GO mobile plans/bundles, using the GO TV app to watch TV on your mobile phone or tablet, will consume data from your plan or bundle. When the mobile plan/bundle's data is used up or expired, you will be charged your plan's or bundle's Pay Per Use (PPU) data charges.  

In this case, we suggest you either subscribe to one of the eligible plans listed above or else you may still use TV Anywhere by connecting to a free Wi-Fi network.    

If you are using the GO TV app on another operator's mobile network, data charges apply.  You must check with your provider on the applicable charges.

Will any other apps running in the background consume data, while using the GO TV app?

Any apps which require an internet connection, and which are running in the background while you are using the GO TV app will consume data from your mobile plan/bundle's data allowance.

What happens when this offer expires?

As from 1st January 2020, when using the GO TV app you will consume data from your mobile plan or bundle included allowance.  When the included data bundle allowance  is used up or expired you will be charged at the respectivePay Per Use (PPU) data rates.

Will I be incurring any mobile data charges when using the GO TV app while connected to Wi-Fi?

No. Charges will not apply when connected to free Wi-Fi.

How can I stop using TV Anywhere? 

If you wish to stop using this service, we suggest you uninstall/delete the GO TV app from your device or else you may simply not access the app at all.
