Enjoying superfast 1000Mbps speeds when connected via Wi-Fi will depend on several factors, such as the placement and quantity of your Smart Wi-Fi beacons, interference from other devices, the capabilities of your Wi-Fi hardware and even the layout of your home. These elements can influence the quality of your wireless connection.

Since the GO Smart Wi-Fi beacons are designed to communicate seamlessly with each other, you will stay connected to the network without having to reconnect to a different Wi-Fi hot-spot within the home.

The good news is that the GO Smart Wi-Fi beacons come as part of the Giga offer, so you won’t be charged an activation fee for them. However, if you’re subscribed to one of our other Home Packs, there is a €30 activation fee.

Currently, the Smart Wi-Fi beacons are offered with a month-on-month subscription. This means that if you decide to stop the service, then you are required to return the beacons.

Installing the Smart Wi-Fi beacons is a straightforward process, so much so, that you can easily install them yourself. Simply follow these steps to install the Smart Wi-Fi Nokia modem and beacon and these steps to install the Smart Wi-Fi Nokia beacons with your existing GO modem. Having said that, if you need help, you can schedule an appointment with one of our technicians.

We’ll send you a notification when your agreement is nearing its end. If you wish to continue enjoying the benefits of our Giga plan after your initial 2-year agreement, all you have to do is sign a new agreement by visiting one of our outlets. By doing this, you can retain both the TV Stream and Smart Wi-Fi beacons. It’s a simple way to keep enjoying what you love!
