What do I do if I have forgotten my Wi-Fi password?

Here’s how you can quickly find your Wi-Fi network name (SSID) and password.

First, check your modem label. If you’ve never changed your Wi-Fi credentials, you’ll find the default Wi-Fi network name (SSID) and password conveniently printed on a label located at the back or bottom of your modem (CPE – Customer Premises Equipment).

Already changed your default credentials? No problem. Follow the steps below, depending on your modem type.

For Technicolor or Sagemcom modem

  • Open a web browser and enter the following URL: https://192.168.1.254
  • Log in using the credentials printed on the modem’s label.
  • Once logged in, navigate to the Wireless Settings section to view or change your current Wi-Fi network name and password.

For Nokia Integrated Gateway

You have two options:

  1. Access the interface via a browser using the following URL: https://192.168.1.254
  2. Open the Nokia WiFi app, and go to the Home Network tab (blue box) to view the Wi-Fi password.

In both cases, the credential to use the modem’s web page or the Nokia Wifi app are printed on the modem’s label.

Reset the modem (last resort)

If you’re unable to access the settings interface, you can perform a factory reset. To do so:

  • Press and hold the reset button on the modem for about 10–15 seconds.
  • This will restore the default settings, including the original SSID and password printed on the label.
  • All settings on the modem you may have changed will be lost.
