The easiest way to check your plan is through the GO app – from your home screen, just click on ‘Manage services’ as shown in the image. If you see ‘Pay as you GO Play’, you’re on a Play plan and you can add a DIS or Double DAT bundle for 4 weeks through the GO app.

If you only see ‘Pay as you GO’, you’re on our base plan, which means you can either activate one of our Smart bundles!

What is the TV offer with the Play plan?

Youths subscribing to the TV offer get to benefit from 6 months free on Sports Pass or Movies & Series Pass plus 12 months free on Start TV which gives access to local and Italian channels. The offer is available to mobile Play Plan customers. Customers can apply for the offer until 31st December 2021.

Those below 18 years of age, need to visit an outlet with a parent/legal guardian to activate this TV offer.

Who is eligible for a Play plan?

Anyone who is 27 years old or younger is eligible to apply for the Play plan, being either new or existing prepaid customer.

All you need to do to apply is download our GO app and link your prepaid mobile service. When you click on “Manage Service” for that particular mobile number, you will find a “Switch to Play” button. Once you tap on it, you will be applying for the Play plan. You will receive an SMS once the switch has been completed.

You can also visit one of our retail outlets to apply, however if you are under the age of 18 years you will need to have a parent or guardian with you.

How do I get Data Boom?

Data Boom is a feature which automatically gives extra data for anyone part of a Home Pack Community. All you need to do is become part of your family or friend’s Home Pack Community, you don’t need to be the owner of a Home Pack to benefit as long as you are added as a Community member.

This feature is only available for all GO Smart, Smart Plus and Play plan bundles.

How can I sign up to the Play plan?

If you are 27 years old or younger and already a GO prepaid customer, the easiest and fastest way to sign up is from the GO app. You can find this option in the “Manage Service” for the particular mobile service, and then tap on a few buttons. You will receive a notification when the change is done.

You can also apply by filling a form on our website or visiting one of our outlets, where you will need to provide a document such as ID card / passport to verify your age or by calling us on 80072121 (if you are already a GO subscriber).

How can I purchase the DIS or Double DAT bundle?

After you’ve signed up for the Play plan, you can purchase the DIS and Double DAT bundles by logging into MyGO or the GO app and clicking on ‘Boost bundles’ or by sending a text with DIS or DoubleDAT to 16410.

How can I create and manage my Play’s 5 friends and family members?

Each time you top up with €10 or more when you are on a Play plan, you will get 500MB of data as well as unlimited calls and SMS towards 5 mobile numbers of your choice! These mobile numbers can be on any local network, and all you need to do is adding your selected numbers to your list once.

Adding a mobile number: Send an SMS to 16419 with “A” and the mobile number you want to add (A 79XXXXXX). Once you receive a successful confirmation SMS, start benefitting from the free rewards after topping up.

Removing a mobile number: Send an SMS to 16419 with “R” and the mobile number you want to remove (R 79XXXXXX). After receiving a successful confirmation SMS, you can add another mobile number. Please note that there is a €2 charge when replacing a mobile number from your list.

Viewing your current friends and family: Send an SMS with “L” to 16419, and you will receive an SMS back

What is the Home Pack Community?

The Home Pack mobile Community is available to our Home Pack customers subscribed to our Freedom Plans, Smart Plans, Smart Plus plan and Play plan.

Once activated via SMS, you can add 4 other GO mobile numbers to the Community, giving each member free unlimited calls to fellow Community members as well as the Home Pack landline number. The free unlimited minutes towards the Community are applicable while in Malta only.

How do I activate the Music Wildcard?

If you are subscribed to any of our Smart, Smart Plus, Play or Freedom plans, you can already benefit from Music Wildcard. All you need is to have remaining data in your bundle and one of the apps supported with this feature; Spotify, Amazon Music, Deezer and Apple Music and you can enjoy streaming your favourite songs without consuming any data!

Please note that if your mobile data bundle allowance is used up or has expired, your normal Pay Per Use (PPU) data charges will apply. You can check remaining data by logging into the GO app or MyGO, or by sending a free blank SMS to 16415.
