What is eSIM?

The eSIM is a 5 × 5 mm chip embedded in a smartphone, tablet, smartwatch or other device. It can work with or without a physical SIM card and if you already have a physical SIM card, your phone can turn into a dual SIM one with eSIM.

How to get your eSIM

After ordering your mobile plan, we can discuss together whether having an eSIM is the right choice for you. To use this technology, you will need to have a device with a built-in SIM card which is GO eSIM compatible. If your smartphone is eSIM compatible, you will then receive a QR code to activate it.

Once the eSIM profile is downloaded to your device, it cannot be re-used.

Can an eSIM be damaged?

It’s highly unlikely. An eSIM is a small, in-built component. Physical damage is very rare and far less common than damage to a more exposed physical SIM.

What should I do if my eSIM-enabled device is lost or stolen?

If your device has been stolen, please contact us to suspend your service immediately.

 

How do I get my service back if my eSIM profile has been deleted or is missing?

You need to download a new eSIM Profile on your new device and then request a SIM change at one of GO’s Retail Outlets, normal charges apply.

How do I transfer my eSIM service to another compatible device?

You need to download a new eSIM Profile on your new device and then request a SIM replacement at one of GO’s Retail Outlets, normal charges apply.
