An eSIM is a SIM card already embedded into your device, be it your mobile phone or a wearable device like smartwatches, which can support multiple mobile services via what is called a profile. This profile stores all the services you are subscribed to, as well as your network settings without the need for a traditional SIM card.

Additionally, you can combine an eSIM with a physical SIM card, giving you the flexibility of having a dual-SIM solution.

There are several ways to obtain an eSIM and get your profile up and running. Here are your options:

Via the GO app:

1. Click on the Services icon at the bottom of the app
2. Tap on the Mobile tab
3. Click the Get a new mobile service button
4. Choose whether you’d like a new number or to keep your existing mobile number
5. Select eSIM
6. If you’ve opted to keep your existing number, you’ll be prompted to enter it
7. Next, enter the verification code sent to you and complete SIM registration
8. Select your current mobile operator and current service
9. Tap Confirm, then sign the authorisation form allowing GO to request your mobile number from your current provider if you’re keeping your existing number
10. A confirmation screen will appear, letting you know that your order is being processed

You can also get an eSIM:

Online: Request to speak with an agent, who will provide you an eSIM QR code via email. Simply scan it, download your eSIM and you’re all set.
In store: Our team will guide you through the process and get you set up in no time.

All iPhones from iPhone XS / XS Max / XR onwards support eSIM (including iPhone SE 2nd & 3rd gen, as well as the iPhone 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16 and 17 series).

Samsung
eSIM is available on Galaxy S20 / S21 / S22 / S23 / S24 / S25 series, Galaxy Z Flip & Z Fold series (Flip/Fold 2–7), Galaxy Note20 series, Galaxy S23 FE & S24 FE, select A-series models (e.g. A35/A36, A54/A55/A56), as well as the XCover 7.

Xiaomi
The Xiaomi 14T Pro and 15T Pro is compatible with our eSIM.

OnePlus
The OnePlus 15 is compatible with our eSIM.

Google
Our eSIM is compatible with the Google Pixel 10 Pro.

In addition, you can quickly check whether your device is eSIM compatible by following these steps:

• On iPhone: Settings > Mobile Data (Cellular) > Add eSIM. If you see this option, your phone is eSIM-ready.
• On Samsung: Settings > Connections > SIM Manager (or Mobile Plans) > Add eSIM / Add mobile plan. If this shows up, your phone supports eSIM.

With GO Easy Buy you can purchase your favourite device through affordable monthly payments spread over 36 months – all at 0% interest.

To purchase your device with Easy Buy you must fulfil the below criteria:

• have a valid Maltese ID card or local ID residency card
• have an account with a local bank
• provide copies of your last 3 full-time payslips (1 per month) or last 6 months postpaid bills with Epic/Melita, paid in full and on time

You can then choose your desired device. Just note that you can purchase up to 2 devices with Easy Buy and you’ll need to sign a 24-month Freedom Plan or Home Pack agreement. If you already have an active Easy Buy agreement, you cannot add another device later. All devices must be part of the same agreement.

Once you have confirmed your order, we will let you know when the device is ready for pickup from one of our GO outlets of your choice.

Once you’ve selected your ideal plan, you may then opt for your preferred mobile phone and pay through monthly instalments without breaking the bank. Just note that you can purchase up to 2 devices with Easy Buy, but they must all be part of the same agreement. If you already have an active Easy Buy agreement, an additional device cannot be added later.

What sets Easy Buy apart from other offerings is that you do not need to pay a fixed percentage of the retail price to get your favourite device. In fact, in most cases, you will end up paying €0 upfront.

Having said that, if the device you want costs more than the total amount you would have ended up paying over the 36-month duration, you will be requested to pay the difference between the total amount of your monthly payments and the device’s retail price upfront.
