Your policy covers contents up to €30,000. If the total value of your belongings is much higher than this, this policy may not be the right fit. In that case, please get in touch with us and we’ll guide you on the best option.
Your contents are protected against a wide range of risks, including:
On top of this, your policy also includes accidental damage cover for TVs, digital and satellite receivers, audio equipment, DVD players and recorders, computer equipment, and game consoles. This benefit is limited to €1,000 per 12-month period.
Please note, mobile phones, tablets, and cameras are not included under the accidental damage cover.
No, you don’t need to own the property. As long as the contents belong to you, they can be insured under this policy. If you move to a new home, just let us know. We’ll cancel the old policy and issue a new one to cover your belongings at your new address.
Unfortunately, no. Any damage caused by your own pets or by animals you’re looking after for someone else, isn’t covered under this policy.
Damage from power surges is only covered if the surge is the direct result of:
Yes, your contents remain fully covered for up to 90 consecutive days.
However, if your home is empty for longer than 90 days, certain cover, such as riots, malicious damage, burst pipes and theft will no longer apply. Also, if you’re away for more than 90 days, you’ll need to switch off the water supply after 30 days.
Payment is made directly to GO p.l.c. The total annual premium is €90.00, plus €13.00 document duty. Payments are spread monthly at €7.50 per month. Meanwhile, the €13.00 document duty is paid in the first month of your new policy or renewal period.
If you need to make a claim, simply call Atlas Insurance PCC Limited on 2343 5363 or send us an email on [email protected]. Their team will guide you through the process and provide you with a claim form to complete and return.
Yes, a policy excess of €50 applies to every claim, however, for claims relating to earthquake damage, the excess is €250.
Yes, you can do so at any time. Just let us know and we’ll cancel your policy and monthly direct debit if you have one. If applicable, you may be entitled to a refund of the premium.

GO plc (C 22334) is authorised under the Insurance Distribution Act to act as a Tied Insurance Intermediary for Atlas Insurance PCC Limited (C 5601), which is a cell company authorised under the Insurance Business Act 1998 (Cap. 403 of the Laws of Malta) to carry on general insurance business. The non-cellular assets of the company may be used to meet losses incurred by the cells in excess of their assets. Both entities are regulated by the MFSA.
