I’ve just landed abroad, however, I cannot connect to a mobile network. What can I do?

When arriving in the country you’re travelling to, your mobile service should automatically connect to a network operator from that country. However, sometimes your mobile may either not connect to a network or it may disconnect. If that happens to you, just follow the steps below.

Android:

  1. Go to the ‘Settings’ app and then to ‘Connections’
  2. Tap on ‘Mobile networks’, followed by ‘Network Operators’
  3. If your Network is set to ‘Automatic’, deactivate this function by pressing the indicator next to ‘Automatic’
  4. After a few seconds, a number of available networks will start to appear. Choose one of these networks. For a list of our roaming partners and their rates, please visit our Travel page

Apple:

  1. Go to the ‘Settings’ app, then to ‘Mobile Data’, followed by ‘Network Selection’
  2. If your Network is set to ‘Automatic’, deactivate this function by swiping the indicator next to ‘Automatic’
  3. After a few seconds, a number of available networks will start to appear. Choose one of these networks. For a list of our roaming partners and their rates, please visit our Travel page
