How to enable Wi-Fi Calling

No, calls are charged the same way as if you were on the mobile network, which means that your existing plan applies.
Just four things:

- For iPhone: Go to Settings > Mobile Service > Wi-Fi Calling > On
If you use more than one SIM on your iPhone then select SIM > Wi-Fi Calling > On - For Android: Go to Settings > Connections > Wi-Fi Calling > On (may vary slightly by phone)
Device compatibility can vary by manufacturer. Right now, Apple and TCL phones with the latest software updates are ready to use Wi-Fi Calling on the GO network. More brands, including Samsung and Google, will be joining soon through upcoming updates.

No worries. If your phone supports it and VoLTE is enabled and active, the call will switch to the mobile network so you don’t get cut off.

Most phones show a Wi-Fi call icon in the status bar or on the call screen when Wi-Fi Calling is active.
At the moment, emergency calls to 112 are handled by the mobile network (2G/3G). This means:
- If mobile coverage is available, your emergency call will always go through the mobile network, not Wi-Fi.
- If mobile coverage is not available, the call will not connect over Wi-Fi.
In the future, emergency calls and other supplementary services will also be supported through VoLTE and Wi-Fi Calling.
If your VPN uses a local IP address, Wi-Fi Calling will work, however, if your VPN is set to a foreign IP address, it won’t connect.
