Every Day

Everyday-Movies-And-Series-GO-Malta

9:50am

Start off your Valentine’s day morning with the romantic yet philosophical film ‘Everyday’ – be warned – you need to grab your tissue box though as it will surely bring you to tears. Everyday is based on David Levithan’s New York Times bestseller. The story is about a 16-year old girl Rhiannon who falls in love with a mysterious soul named “A” who wakes up in a different body everyday. As you can imagine, this takes a toll on Rhiannon and makes us question the fundamental properties of love – would we be able to fall in love with just someone’s soul? Removing the physical?

It Takes Two

11:30am

So you went on your morning walk or run and you want to take a bit of a break? Sit down on your comfy sofa with a loved one or your lovable pets and gear up for ‘It takes two’! A mixture of comedy, family and romance, this film is about two orphans – Alyssa and Amanda who are completely identical and have never met, who accidently meet one day. Classic to 2000s film plots, the girls go on an adventure to stop Alyssa’s father’s wedding.

Five Feet Apart

13:15

If you’ve just had lunch and want to watch a touching romantic movie, then this film is perfect for you! ‘Five Feet Apart’ is about two teens who have cystic fibrosis and magically meet in a hospital and yearn for true love. With blockbuster stars like Cole Sprouse and Hayley Lu Richardson as the main actors, we heavily recommend you watch this! (And yeah keep that tissue box close)

The Break-Up

15:15

This is for the ones who need a good laugh – watch a couple fight over the one thing they are still in love with – their luxurious apartment after a nasty breakup. With stars like Jennifer Aniston and Vince Vaughn, you’re all set for the afternoon.

Call Me By Your Name

18:50

We’re sure you’ve heard about this Oscar-winning eclectic romance film. Directed by Luca Guadagnino, ‘Call me by your name’, takes us through a blossoming romance between a 17-year old student Elio (Timothee Chalamet) and an older man Oliver (Armie Hammer) hired as his father’s research assistant.

What Men Want

21:00

‘What Men Want’ is about a woman who starts hearing men’s thoughts after visiting a psychic. This hilarious comedy starring Taraji P. Henson truly makes you think about what men actually want (and how they think). Bringing the battle of the sexes to a whole other dimension, we’re sure you won’t stop laughing with this one!

Ghost

23:00

Ok if you’ve gotten this far and have never watched Ghost, we recommend you watch it. This classic 1990 oscar-winning romantic drama is about a man (Patrick Swayze) who is murdered but stays on in the afterlife to warn his lover (Demi Moore) about the impending danger with the help of a reluctant psychic.
