How can I download my favourite movie/episode?

All you need to do is select the preferred movie or episode and press download. This will take you to a download page, where you can see the progress of the downloading movie or episode. Once the download is done, you’ll be able to access the GO TV app and watch the item without internet access or using any data.

Are all movies and episodes downloadable?

Our library of Movies & Series that you can download is constantly growing, however, not all titles have this feature yet. You would know that the movie or episode is available for download from the item info page. If there is the download icon, this means that the item is downloadable. It is important to note that the feature is only available for VOD content and not TV recordings or Catch-up.

Is the download feature available on Android and Apple mobile?

Yes, the feature is available on Android mobile and tablet, iPhone and iPad. Having said that, the feature is not available on TV app or web browsers.

Does the downloaded movie or episode expire?

Yes, the download expires 15 days after being downloaded but it can be reactivated so that you can watch it offline. This means that the app will open the video file but not download it again, so whilst you need to be online to reactive, hardly any data would be utilised to do so.

Is there a download limit?

The only limit is the space available on your device. We recommend that once you have watched a downloaded item and you do not plan to re-watch it, delete it so that you’ll make space for new items.

I downloaded a movie yesterday – how can I watch it?

All downloaded items can be found under the Downloads menu item.

Can I watch a downloaded movie or episode from any device with the same log in?

Just like any other download, the movie or episode would be available on the device it was downloaded on. Having said that, the movie and episode can be downloaded on as many devices as you want.

I have the GO TV app but I can’t see this new feature – can you help?

Check if there are any updates pending on the mobile application. Make sure to keep the application updated to have access to more interesting features in the future.
