Can I make an emergency call over Wi-Fi?

At the moment, emergency calls to 112 are handled by the mobile network (2G/3G). This means:

  • If mobile coverage is available, your emergency call will always go through the mobile network, not Wi-Fi.
  • If mobile coverage is not available, the call will not connect over Wi-Fi.

In the future, emergency calls and other supplementary services will also be supported through VoLTE and Wi-Fi Calling.
