Why do I have noise on my phone line?

Firstly, make sure that the telephone set/s are properly connected to the telephone point, or to the modem in the case of a fibre optic connection.

  • Is the problem occurring on one or multiple telephone sets? If you only have one telephone set connected, try connecting a different set to confirm whether the issue is coming from the set itself.
  • If you have multiple telephone sets connected, confirm that the issue is not happening on all sets.
  • If you have a cordless telephone set, make sure that the base is switched on from the electricity socket and connected to the GO telephone socket.
