2. Switch plans effortlessly

Life is dynamic and so are your connectivity needs. Whether you need more data, additional talk time or a different plan altogether, the GO app empowers you to switch plans with ease. Are you 27 years old or younger? Opt for our Play plan and sort out your plan in just a few taps. To do so, follow these steps:

  1. Access the ‘Manage service’ section and select the ‘Switch Plan’ button
  2. Choose the ‘Switch to Play plan’ option
  3. You’ll receive a notification once the new plan is activated

Haven’t connected your mobile service to your app account yet? Then follow the steps below and once your mobile service is linked, carry on with the steps above.

  1. Click on “More” at the bottom of the menu
  2. Choose “Link accounts and services”
  3. Select “Link service”
  4. Enter your mobile number and tap “Send verification code”
  5. A verification code will be sent to your mobile number
  6. Input the verification code in the provided field and tap “Confirm code”

3. Pay your bills

Say goodbye to the hassle of remembering due dates and navigating through complex payment processes. The GO app puts the power of bill payment right in your hands. View your bills over the last 12 months and pay them directly via the app. If you have a pending one, you’ll see a purple card on the Home tab informing you of the pending amount you must pay. If you have one linked account, then the button on this card would read “Pay now”. If, however, you have more than one account linked, the button will read “See details”.

On a different note, you may want to consider setting up a Direct Debit Mandate (DDM), a hassle-free method of payment so that you won’t have to remind yourself to settle your bill every month. DDM is when you insert your bank details into your account so you automatically pay your outstanding bills without intervening. 4. Quick top-ups

Running low on credit? Fret not. The GO app ensures that you’re always in control of your usage by allowing you to top up your balance, monitor your data consumption and never miss a beat in your connectivity journey. What’s more, you’ll have full visibility of the top-up amount and date when this took place, while you can also save regular payments to top up with one touch or view your top-up balance, receipts and payment history. And if you’re worried you’ll miss a payment, you can always opt for auto top-up. With auto top-up, you can set your top-up preferences once and the top-up will recur automatically according to your selected criteria. You can either set the rule for whenever your balance reaches a certain amount or on a specific day of the month. You’ll also get to benefit from perks like extra data on your Smart, DIS or Double DAT plan when activating this payment method via GO app.

5. Gain full control of your bundles

Picture this – with just a few taps, you’re in the driver’s seat, effortlessly navigating through your data, voice and SMS bundles. This means that you not only have the ability to view your remaining balances in real-time, but you can activate more bundles on the fly or stop recurring ones depending on your needs.

6. Manage GO Secure Net

Protect yourself and the people you love from social media and email account takeover, as well as malware, viruses and inappropriate content before they even reach your device thanks to Secure Net. If you’re already on one of our Home Packs or mobile plans, you can easily activate Secure Net via the GO app, without having to visit one of our retail stores or speak to our customer care agents. All you need to do is follow these steps:

  1. Tap on the “Services” option from the bottom menu, and select the mobile number you wish to activate GO Secure Net on
  2. A card will appear informing you that this service is eligible for GO Secure Net
  3. Tap on the “See more” button
  4. A new page will appear with more information related to GO Secure Net. Tap on “Activate” to activate GO Secure Net on that service
  5. A screen will appear to confirm GO Secure Net is getting activated
  6. You will receive an SMS (on the mobile service) and an email (on the MyGO email address) confirming that GO Secure Net is all set up

In addition, you can change states or pause Secure Net temporarily from the GO app based on your needs.

7. Register your mobile service

Register your mobile service and gain total control of your services. Just make sure the service is linked to the GO app via SMS verification. Need help? Take a look at what you need to do:

  1. Log into the GO app where you have the unregistered mobile service
  2. GO to the Services tab and select the unregistered mobile service
  3. Scroll down to find the “Your mobile service is not registered” card
  4. Tap on the Register button
  5. Tick the “I am over 18 years old” box
  6. If you wish to receive marketing material, tick the 2nd box
  7. If you would like to have your number available in the directory, switch on the toggle button and find your address.
  8. Start off by selecting your locality, street and then house name
  9. Tap on the Next button
  10. A screen will come up informing you to prepare your identification document, click on the Next button
  11. Select what type of identification document you will be using to register (be it passport, ID card or driver’s licence) and then select the country of origin of the selected document
  12. Place your identification document in front of the back camera (as per instructions on screen) and align it to the box on screen
  13. Place the phone in front of you, and whilst using the front camera, place your face in the shape as instructed on the screen
  14. Once the registration is completed, you will receive a notification. You can also find your registration details in the Services tab, under the registered service.
