Luna is seeded in the early 1990s and depicts the life of a Sicilian teenager and her family where customs and tradition not only influence life, but mould it. She hails from an affluent family where life is lived on four unwritten rules – love of family and it’s name Omerta, silence, power and honour. Her parents Gugliermo and Donna Pina ensure that she lacks nothing from the physical aspect of life as well, while her elder brother, Vincenzo, idolises and protects her with his own life.
It may sound like the perfect setting for a fantastic life, however, this is not how things turned out for her at all. From a tender age, Luna had to face situations and take decisions that not even adults should be forced to contemplate.
